Summer 2010…

What a summer…

Well, Labor Day weekend is coming to a close and I always feel a little sad when that happens.  I feel sad because it marks the end of summer–and I really love summer.  Eventually I get over it and start getting excited about Halloween but right now I’m feeling a little melancholy.

Considering all that happened to me this summer, you’d probably think that I’d be happy to see this one go but believe it or not, I still thought it was a good summer with great memories…

Memorial Day weekend…

End of school celebration featuring the Tighty Whitey Band…

Road trip to Legoland…

Eating lunch with chopsticks…

A rare night out on the town…

Art camp and learning to play guitar…

Riding the 4-seater bikes through Independence Grove…

Lake Bluff 4th of July parade…

Grilling in the rain…

Meeting Wiley Wolf while on vacation at the Great Wolf Lodge…

Alfredo…

Playing cards…

Sight-seeing in Chicago…

Anniversary party in Neenah…

Milwaukee Zoo…

Beginning second grade…

It was a good summer!

And just in case you’re wondering, the answer is yes. Bobby is wearing either an orange shirt or blue shirt (or no shirt) in every picture.  A Fashionisto he is not…!

It is SO great seeing these pictures. Looks like a full & wonderful summer despite everything you’ve faced – but it doesn’t surprise me at all, or anyone that knows you for that matter. 🙂 You are a ray of sunshine no matter what. We love you SO much. Still wanting to come over & bring you something to eat and drink (ha) and chat it up, but don’t want to overwhelm. You just name a day that would work.

You are truly a Wonder Woman – I’m so proud of you and honored to know you & your beautiful family!!!!!

great blog btw. Loving the updates/pics.
