A Cure for the Fadoodles

I know the cure for a bad case of the Fadoodles…

Cousins!

How can you feel fadoodley when you receive encouragement from your cousins like this…

Noreen:
Cathy, a hero isn’t superhuman. It’s a person that just gets through the day the best she can. You cured the Fadoodles with pizza, chocolate, and wine! You looked the new treatment schedule in the eye, and said “I’m halfway done” You are Jedi Knight of chemo! The force is with you. Love, Noreen

Mary:
I kind of like the sound of that word fadoodles. Almost sounds like it could be a new cheesy crunchy snack. That Bobby, he is so brilliant! Half way to that finish line Cathy. We are here with you for the rest of the journey. Take care.

Kathleen:
Bobby now knows what it takes to get through tough times… lots of love and a special hand to hold on to. Keep on ‘trekking’ Cathy… You are doing GREAT!

Or when you spend the day with the next generation of cousins like this…

Cousins. We love our cousins!

And along with a dose of a sister…

and a couple of Bobs…

You’ve got your cure for the Fadoodles.

I love you all!

How lucky we are to have those beautiful ties that bind us. Bowling so soon after your treatment – Noreen is right you are the Jedi Night of chemo!
Your bowling outing looked as fun those fall picnics, Memorial Day barbecues in Arlington Heights and my favorite, eavesdropping in on the grownups at family parties from the air vents in your and Carrie’s bedroom. Love, Mary
